Some cite the "Too Low For Zero" LP as marking Elton's comeback both artistically and commercially, but I contend that "Jump-Up" was Elton's definitive 80's comeback album and that "Too Low" simply built on the momentum Elton created with "Jump-Up". This album is about as good as anything Elton released post/5(63).

Elton's Jump Up! has always been to me a fun album. Other than the very heavy (and very good) Empty Garden, it's a light breezy album, kind of a mood picker-upper, at least for me. The only song I don't like is Blue Eyes, the tempo is draggy and the world "blue" is repeated so much it gets annoying/5(20).
